But 8 is not a two digit number. So we multiplied both numerator and denominator by 2, we get

1. 2/3 = 2×10/3×10 = 2/10 x 10/3 = 2/10 x (3 + 1/3)

The fraction 6/1066/100666/1000, ……… and so on get closer and closer to 2/3.
i.e., 0.6, 0.66, 0.666, …………..
1/2 = 0.666

2. 5/6 = 5×10/6×10 = 5/10 x 10/6 = 5/10 x (1 + 4/6

The fractions 80/100830/10008330/5, ………. and so on get closer and closer to 5/6.
∴ 5/6 = 0.8333………

3. 1/9 = 1×10/9×10 = 1/10 x 10/9

The fractions 1/1011/100111/1000, ………… and so on get closer and closer to 1/9.
∴ 1/9 = 0.1111 ……

So the fraction 1/1011/100111/1000, ……. comes closer and closer to 1/9.
